That’s a Wrap - Celebrating Godspell and What is NEXT!

What a wonderful weekend it was!

Godspell brought together an incredible cast, crew, musicians, volunteers, and audiences for two special performances, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the community that showed up to support it.

From the first rehearsal to the final curtain, this production was a true team effort. Our talented cast brought heart, energy, and joy to the stage, while our musicians and crew worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the production possible. Most importantly, we watched our community come together to experience live theatre and share in a story centered on connection, kindness, faith, and love.

For MACOA, Godspell was about more than putting on a show. It was about creating opportunities for artists in our community. Through this production, we were proud to invest approximately $1,500 directly into local actors and musicians, providing paid opportunities for the people who help make the arts thrive right here in the Parkland.

That investment is an important part of where we hope to take Theatre United. We want to continue creating opportunities for local performers, musicians, directors, writers, designers, and other artists to share their talents—and to be recognized and compensated for their work.

Godspell showed us that there is an audience for these opportunities, and we are excited to keep building.

And this is just the beginning!

Next up is our Imagination Tour, bringing the magic of live theatre directly to local elementary students, followed by The Last Night at the Cabaret, an immersive theatrical experience coming this December.
